Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is an initiative to enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. BHIM is interoperable with other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications, and bank accounts. BHIM is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).

UPI apps went live recently in August with 21 banks. Though, the payment interface was coordinated into the managing an account apps with different elements as well. The BHIM app, then again, accompanies a basic interface and is worked for convenience. The application is around 2MB in size. On beginning the app, you will be requested that offer service to send an SMS and enroll your mobile number. Once enrolled, you will be requested that set a 4-digit password, and after that pick your bank. That is it.

From the Bharat Interface for Money app Home screen,

1) Select Request Money

2) Enter or select the receiver’s mobile number or Payment Address (you can select from your contact list or enter it) or Adhaar number

3) Enter the amount you want to request

4) Click REQUEST

success message

This transaction will remain pending until the payment is received. You will be notified when the money is transferred to you. You may also request money by sharing your QR code.

Goto Home Screen->Profile->Choose account to get QR code.

What is UPI? Unified Payment Interface(UPI) is an instant payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), an RBI regulated entity. UPI is built over the IMPS infrastructure and allows you to instantly transfer money between any two parties bank accounts.

    Dear sir mere account se 14 July Ko 2500 Rs 2 baar transfer krne pr unsuccessful rhe teesri baar transfer ho gye lekin mere account se 5000 Rs km ho gye h receiver Ko sirf 2500 receive huye h

    Yesterday Mene 1000 transfer Kiya tha successful dikha raha Lekin receiver ke pass 1000 transfer nahi hua hai. Avi me kya karun refund hoga ya total lost.

    If an account number existing in the specific branch name is entered incorrectly still transaction goes through. Suggest that a confirmation option displaying the account holder name also is displayed before we confirm payment. This will enhance the security features.
